As fashion girls, we totally understand how flip-flops should not only be comfortable but stylish as well. These slippers come in various colorful designs, making it the lazy day footwear of choice even for celebrities. In fact, some people have even splurged on a pair of flip-flops, while others madly collect them. But, the question we really need to ask is this: Just exactly how much would you splurge on a pair of open-toed, rubber soles? One from a cult designer brand, to be exact.
Well, to give you something to ruminate on, we present to you Off-White’s latest footwear drop: Industrial Flip Flops! Inspired by the brand’s iconic Industrial Belt, it features the popular arrow motif on top, with the emblematic sans serif font around the side, which says, “Weight Securing System”—whatever that means. Although the sole is notably chunkier than your typical pair of flip-flops, we’re pretty sure they cannot withstand "5,400 lbs" as they claim they can. What it can uphold though, would have to be heavy-duty style, a requirement for bank-breaking designer flip-flops such as these. You need to be sartorially imaginative enough to maximize the pair's cost per wear.

The design above is already sold out, and we're not surprised. It's the most aesthetically appealing design among the bunch with the bright yellow soles and dramatic black straps.

Instead of rubber straps, this design (that also comes in white, as seen below) comes with fabric straps that kind of remind us of our childhood beach slippers.

So, what's your verdict? Well, if you're bent on copping a pair (maybe because you're a die-hard Virgil Abloh fan), perhaps you can settle for the all-yellow or all-black variants. They're much more pleasing to look at than the rest, so we guess you can get away with wearing them anywhere. I mean, at this price point, you have to wear the heck out of them!
