The worldwide threat posed by COVID-19 has led to school suspensions and cancellation of public gatherings, even managing to ease the infamous Manila traffic. That said, it comes as no surprise that supermodel Naomi Campbell is taking no chances as she makes headlines with her anti-coronavirus airport OOTD.
Photographed boarding a flight from Los Angeles to New York, Naomi has put the extra in “extra safe.” Not content with simply wearing a bubblegum-colored N95 mask, she donned a full hazmat suit with protective goggles and a pair of pale pink latex gloves.
Following her viral airport routine vlog posted seven months ago, the British runway legend has promised a new video on this virus-proof look. She captioned her Instagram photo: “Safety First NEXT LEVEL. Full video coming on my YouTube soon.”
Naomi rocked the all-white sanitary suit with black sneakers that feature white shoelaces. A selfie on the plane also showcased a sleek tan poncho she draped over the suit for extra comfort—or maybe as a second layer of protection?
The outbreak seems to be worsening, but numerous news articles have attempted to counteract the panic, informing the public that things may not be as bad as they seem. Either way, Naomi is proof that it’s always better to be safe than sorry.
