Mimiyuuuh Honors Her Roots in Carl Jan Cruz at the Preview Ball 2025

For Mimiyuuuh, this year’s theme of “homegrown” is a looking back to your roots. Hence, her deconstructed Carl Jan Cruz ensemble is an ode to a 2019 look that was also crafted by the designer. The distinctive year marked her rise to fame and molded her trajectory to success. “Sabi nga ni Jose Rizal, ang hindi marunong lumingon sa pinanggalingan ay hindi makakarating sa paroroonan,” she playfully told Preview in an interview. “A young fashion gworl who continuously evolves to be the GHOWRL that she is right now.”

Mimiyuuuh went the silver route to adorn herself, partnering her outfit with Loewe earrings and silver rings. Ever the free spirit, she also took liberties with a Tiffany and Co. necklace by wearing it as a bracelet instead.  

Mimiyuuuh has always looked to Carl Jan Cruz to dress her milestone moments, so it was a no-brainer to partner with the designer as well for her latest sartorial appearance. She elaborated, “I love wearing brands that are aligned with my values and supported me when I was a nobody in this industry. Carl Jan Cruz has always been part of who I am and will always be.”
