The name PRX encapsulates the collection's key characteristics. PR stands for “Precise” and “Robust,” while the Roman numeral X represents the watch's water resistance of 10 atmospheres, equivalent to 100 meters. First introduced in 1978, Tissot's PRX collection reflects the brand's emphasis on precision and durability.
The Powermatic 80 movement, meanwhile, was introduced in 2013. For the uninitiated, power reserve refers to how long a mechanical watch can continue running without being wound.
