We're loving this ladylike look on her!

We've been spotting Marian Rivera favoring a popular Fall trend this year. Evidently seen in her recent Instagram OOTDs, the actress seems to have a deep penchant for tweed, a fabric which originated from the 19th Century British royals' hunting garments. This woven fabric was also beloved in the Victorian era for its durability, moisture-resistance, and lightweight features.

Fast forward to 2018, many designers are noticeably still in love with tweed, as seen on the runways of Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Prada, and of course, Parisian luxury house Chanel. Being a fan of luxury designer labels herself, it's not difficult to see why Marian has recently been favoring the chic fabric. See all the different ways she's worn tweed below.

1. Accessorize with bows, brooches, and pearls.

Classic embellishments like these highlight the delicateness of the tweed fabric.

Marian usually opts for brooches from Chanel and Saint Laurent, and Lelet NY hair bows to go with her tweed dresses.

2. Go local!

It's not just international fashion houses that are making tweed dresses. Local designer Yong Davalos also loves playing with this fabric. She made Marian mini dresses in deep red hues that look polished and effortlessly chic on the actress!

3. Opt for trendy colors.

Modernize this fabric by choosing colors that are hot right now. Case in point is this plaid two-tone Gucci dress in millennial pink. So cute!

4. Mind the cut.

Tweed naturally exudes a dressy look when worn. To make it more casual, opt for contemporary silhouettes like Marian's overalls.

Make the fabric appropriate for our tropical weather, too! Choose dress cuts that allow you to show off your shape like a tube dress, square-cut neckline, and a mini dress in a boxy cut.

5. Take it to the office.

To make the fabric office-friendly, look for details that resemble your usual workwear staples, like Marian's double-breasted tweed dress and blazer dress with a wide collar.
