Louis Vuitton has long positioned itself as a maison in motion. With a heritage rooted in luxurious escapades, the French house has built its legacy on pieces designed to accompany global wanderers in style. This ethos came to life once again at its Fall/Winter 2025 show, where the brand unveiled a refreshed silhouette that celebrates modern worldliness. All aboard—meet the Express.

Meet the Louis Vuitton Express

For the Fall/Winter 2025 presentation, creative director Nicolas Ghesquière set out to design pieces that can travel the world and still feel undeniably chic once brought home. The vision traces back to the maison’s origins, crafting trunks and luggage for voyagers moving in and out of Europe. Today, that spirit translates into duffels, suitcases, and handbags engineered to hold life’s essentials without compromising exquisite design. Pieces were to embody the marriage of both practicality and prestige.

Such was the brief when Louis Vuitton introduced the Express, a carrier fashioned with their Keepall silhouette and characterized by soft edges and dual straps. On the catwalk, it was modeled by house ambassador Felix of Stray Kids in a fetching tri-color iteration. Styled either slung over the shoulder or carried by hand, the emblematic bag accompanied technical outerwear, layered gowns, and bold print-on-print looks, proving that true travel style remains timeless, no matter the destination.

Fun fact: the Express borrows its name from the iconic Speedy. In the 1930s, the latter was originally named the Express for its compact, on-the-go build. The 2025 version carries that principle on, as it can be worn in a myriad of ways and is available in three sizes. Each piece is made out of calfskin leather, and depending on the style, has canvas-trimmed straps showing off the LV monogram. As with all of their bags, it also comes with a removable keybell and padlock.

The Express is poised to be a classic-in-the-making. Its design is trend-proof, particularly with how it slouches when held. Like all good things, it gets better with time, due to its supple but sturdy leather exterior.

Over in Singapore, style divas Yoyo Cao, Willabelle Ong, and Savina Chow have also been smitten by the Express and its nonchalant yet versatile silhouette. With a zanily patterned set of coords? Sure! With thigh-high leather boots? Yes please! French-Indonesian model Alyssa Daguise Ghazali agrees with their styling notes, rocking her neutral Express PM with a relaxed suit.

True to its intentions, the Express makes for the ideal travel companion. Global pop star and house ambassador Lisa was spotted bare-faced in full LV, joined by the purse swinging on her shoulder. Off to their respective flights, Chinese screen stars Zhou Dongyu and Victoria Song had different variations of the Express as their plus-ones. Indonesian singer Raissa decided to personalize her pick with a bevy of trinkets as she explored New York City.
