On Monday, May 4, Louis Vuitton announced the latest addition to its expanding circle of ambassadors.
After making her Paris Fashion Week debut at the house’s Fall/Winter 2026 show, Olympic figure skater Alysa Liu now steps into her role as the heritage house's new ambassador.

In a statement, Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Women’s Collections, expressed how the partnership came into fruition.
“Alysa Liu embodies the modern Louis Vuitton woman—confident, creative, and utterly fearless,” he stated. “Her dynamic energy and individuality resonate with the house’s spirit, and she inspires us all to embrace audacity in every form.”

Echoing similar sentiments, Alysa articulated what the new role means to her as a young athlete.
“Stepping into this new chapter as a Louis Vuitton ambassador is an honour and a privilege, especially for a figure skater to be recognised in this way, and I take so much pride in that,” she shared.

The announcement comes three months after she clinched the Olympic gold at the Winter Games held in Milan, Italy, last February.
Beyond her athletic prowess, Alysa has captured the hearts of netizens worldwide for her unabashed authenticity and unbridled joy when she skates, as evidenced by her now-viral Olympic routine, which she flawlessly performed to the tune of PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson’s hit track, “Stateside.”
Since then, Alysa has become an internet darling, having landed magazine covers and brand deals left and right. In fact, just weeks after her Olympic appearance, the 20-year-old made her Paris Fashion Week debut at Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2026 presentation, where she roamed around the French capital clad in looks from the latest Spring/Summer 2026 line.
