Every blushing bride dreams of donning custom, haute couture Dior on her wedding day, but not every bride is Miranda Kerr, who actually got to live the dream!
Shortly after her engagement to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel in July 2016, Miranda met up with Maria Grazia Chiuri, who—the timing!—had just been appointed the artistic director of Dior that very same month. “I thought, if she’s up for it, I’m up for it," Miranda told Vogue.com.
"A dress that fully covers you creates a sense of purity and mystery," the former Victoria's Secret Angel went on. Miranda's signature look may bare a little more skin than others would dare, but to tie the knot, she and Maria took inspiration from Grace Kelly's timelessly iconic wedding gown designed by Hollywood favorite Helen Rose. The result was breathtaking: long sleeves, an elegant high neck, and that billowing satin skirt lovingly appliquéd with lilies of the valley.
That's another bespoke beauty on our peg boards! Congratulations, Miranda!
