Remember when the likes of TLC and Destiny’s Child would rock up to red carpet events wearing virtually the same outfits but in varying vibrant colors? It was girl group coordination at its finest! KATSEYE is currently going viral for doing the same thing, not at a big music show, but at the airport, no less. And the internet is suddenly nostalgic for the magic of ‘90s girl group chic.

K-pop airport photos are practically industry standard at this point, so much so that idols have taken to dressing up for the cameras on their way to boarding a 12-hour flight. Often the theme for these inescapable paparazzi snaps seems to be dressed down designer cool, with each member in off-duty model looks sporting their own styles.
KATSEYE, however, recently caught the internet’s attention for doing away with the idol airport uniform and channeled instead the ghosts of girl groups past. Upon their arrival at Gimpo International Airport in Seoul, the sextet turned heads in matching bodycon sweatsuits.
Photos and videos of the iconic moment quickly made rounds on social media as fans absolutely fawned over their outfits. Users on X have likened their appearance to iconic groups, both real and fictional, like the Spice Girls, Cheetah Girls, Bratz, and even Totally Spies.

Meanwhile, you’ve got the style-obsessed ladies in the comments section asking the right question: where can we get a set of our own? For those dying to be the seventh member of KATSEYE, their sweatsuits came from the Australian fashion company I.AM.GIA. The Instagram brand's success can be attributed to models and celebrities wearing their pieces both at fashion week or as street style staples. The list includes Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, Kaia Gerber, Selena Gomez, Tyla, Sabrina Carpenter, and Ice Spice.

The girls of KATSEYE were recently chosen to front Gap’s Fall 2025 campaign, Better in Denim. Dressed in the fabric’s signature silhouettes reworked for a new generation, the group starred in a video that had them dancing to a re-recorded version of Kelis’s Milkshake.
