The 2026 edition of the Tokyo International Film Festival showcased a variety of cinematic projects from across the globe. Representing the Philippines was the cast and crew of the political biopic Edjop, directed by Katski Flores and starring Elijah Canlas, Kakie Pangilinan, and Jodi Sta. Maria.
On the festival's red carpet on October 28, the team stepped out in gala attire in shades of black and white. For Jodi, who plays Joyette Jopson in the film, that meant a chic Prada number paired with classic movie-star styling.

Styled by Studio 24c, Jodi was a picture of elegance in a one-piece jumper dress that combined a gathered knee-length skirt with a mock-neck top. Her stylist, Preview Best Dressed 2026 honoree Melville Sy, shares that the team wanted Jodi to look "clean, simple, and chic," as she always does.
"We tried several pieces, but ultimately chose this mock-neck Prada dress for its understated sophistication. Paired with Audrey Hepburn-inspired hair and makeup, it all came together beautifully for the red carpet," he continues.
Ting Duque was in charge of giving Jodi that movie-star glow, while Jan Edrosolan ensured that her tresses were ready for a Breakfast at Tiffany's moment.
With black netted stilettos punctuating the OOTD, the actress was a vision on the red carpet. Jodi also seems to have a special connection to Japan, as her film Midnight Girls, which was shot in Nagoya, premiered earlier this year.

As Melville noted, Jodi's frock was an understated yet high-impact red-carpet choice. The utilitarian silhouette stays true to Prada's design sensibility. Beside the neckline zipper sits the house's iconic triangular logo plaque, a built-in answer for anyone wondering where this LBD is from.
