Would you buy this luxurious pair from Louis Vuitton for P54,000?

Over the course of this quarantine, we’ve all probably added a little flair to our pambahay lewks just to perk up our moods, be it through colorful swimwear, cute shorts, or matching sets. But if there’s anyone who defies the boundaries of what “extra” home OOTDs can be, it has to be Jinkee Pacquiao.

The 41-year-old mom of five never fails to wow us with her designer home outfits, like her Louis Vuitton silk pajamas that instantly went viral. Well, it seems that this lover of luxury goods has a new obsession: furry bedroom slippers! Just hours ago, she posted a snapshot of her Monday routine, which involved drinking coffee (it looks so creamy, BTW) using Fornasetti dinnerware, nonetheless.

These cute bedroom slippers come from—surprise, surprise—Louis Vuitton. (As if that huge LV monogram wasn’t a huge giveaway.) Called the Bom Dia flat mule, these plush pink steppers are like your typical sporty mules but crafted with super luxurious mink for the strap, printed with the said iconic monogram.

Although Louis Vuitton doesn’t sell this design anymore, Footwear News reports that the design also came in a blue colorway, but if you ask us, Jinkee made a great choice… it’s practically a super luxe version of everyone’s childhood dream furry slippers! You know, the ones that complete every sleepover or girls’ night-in!

Aside from sipping coffee from fancy dinnerware, Jinkee also spends her Monday mornings by wiggling her toes in what appears to be the coziest bedroom slippers ever created. Such an experience comes at a price, though! According to Footwear News, the pair originally retailed for $1090 or approximately P54,625.35.

It may no longer be available, but the brand offers something similar: the Homey flat mule, which also comes in the dreamiest baby pink hue. The only catch is that it costs €1160 or P65,214 a pop. Would you shell out the same amount of money to spend mornings like Jinkee, no matter how “supple and lightweight” these slippers claim to be?
