Jess Wilson and Moritz Gastl are officially basking in wedded bliss! The two just got hitched in an intimate wedding celebration in Palawan, surrounded by their loved ones and close friends. After "two delayed weddings, a pandemic, and a few new family babies born in between," Jess and Moritz are finally able to say their "I dos." "We planned this earlier in the year with the help of some of the best people in the industry (@eventsbyamandatirol!!) and decided to do our civil wedding together with a small group of loved ones in Palawan," the Sunnies Face co-founder recalled.
Despite settling for a small celebration, Jess isn't going to let her big day go by without wearing the most gorgeous wedding dress! In fact, Jess chose the best beach bridal frock that's totally fit for their celebration—a mini wedding dress inspired by the Philippine Terno! We're swooning over her choice of dress that's enveloped by intricate callado embroidery work and scalloped neckline. But of course, the focal point of her dress are the butterfly sleeves! We love its fringe detail that totally modernized the entire look.
Jess tapped Vania Romoff for her bridal gown, and the local designer revealed on her Instagram that the dress actually comes with a detachable fringe skirt. This transforms the mini frock into an ankle-length dress with a fringe belt that cinches the bride's waist.
By her side is her beau Moritz who looked extra handsome in his Barong Tagalog and khakis. The couple walked down the aisle decorated with breathtaking gypsophila blooms that actually signify compassion, trust, and everlasting love. Aww!
Completing the bridal look, Jess opted to wear her hair down in loose waves, keeping in mind her relaxed beach-side wedding. For her makeup, Jess chose to go for natural, sunkissed makeup to go with her stunning tanned skin. Gorgeous!
Congratulations, Jess and Moritz!
