Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Bea Marin Wore the Most Effortlessly Chic Looks in Tokyo

Tokyo in December may be frigid but your outfits don’t have to be. While lower temperatures warrant the desire to bundle up in chunky, clunky neutral pieces, there are ways to fight the frost with fashion that isn’t bleak and bitterly cold—like winter-izing your tropical wardrobe, sort of.

Look no further than Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Bea Marin who make being wrapped up (read: hidden thermals under) look effortlessly chic. Decked out in head-to-toe Gucci Cruise 2020, the two wandered around the busy streets of Tokyo and had us convinced that packing some "suitably playful" outfits for 10-degree weather is quite doable. Even better, these looks can work for ANY occasion—"everything is possible, there are no boundaries," just the way Alessandro Michele envisioned the collection.

Jasmine is making us want to invest in a verdant piece, stat.

Cozy, roomy, comfortable but certainly chic. We spot her lugging the Gucci Arli bag from Spring/Summer 2019, which gives polish to her overall look.

Bea steps out in grandma-chic style that’s prompting us to rummage through our Lola’s closet.

Jasmine and Bea take a sampling of the city's hip alleys in this thoughtful color palette of brown, mustard, and red. Oversized accessories only make their looks shine even more.

Indoors, Jasmine hangs her coat to reveal a sophisticated soft-hued, Greek-inpired dress perfect for window shopping and lounging around cafés. That Gucci Sylvie bag from Fall/Winter 2019 is definitely for keeps.

Bea Marin definitely exudes power in these oversized wares. We can’t get over those spiky suspenders hanging aimlessly on her shoulders.
