She's giving this traditionally male piece a feminine flair.

Preview Best Dressed 2024 awardee Janine Gutierrez was a vision in Vania Romoff at the Preview Ball 2025. The actress gave a feminine twist to a traditionally male Filipino garment for her outfit, perfectly capturing this year’s “homegrown” theme, where celebrated heritage meets modern sensibilities. She stood out among a sea of stars at the brand’s 30th anniversary gala held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom at Newport World Resorts.

Janine’s look was inspired by the camisa de chino, a men’s undergarment typically worn under a Barong Tagalog. "It was a suggestion from her stylist, [Izzy Tuason of the The Dandy Project]. I made it in sheer because of course she can pull it off," shared Vania. They had the designer craft the intimate piece into an outfit that encapsulated Janine—“A bit retro, a little relaxed, and very movie star,” Izzy told Preview.
For accessories, Janine went bag-free, leaving the talking to her jewelry from JMA. “I thought the geometric pattern of this JMA diamond choker and earrings evoked the embroidery on a stately Barong,” said Izzy.

When asked to look back on her fondest moments with Preview, Janine spoke of her innate love for fashion and her very first cover shoot in May 2015. "I started being a fashion girl growing up reading Preview magazines, and it was such a dream come true to be able to be on the cover in Palawan," said the actress.
