The supermodel's chic OOTDs were one of the best things about the second season.

For the disciples of the early aughts series Project Runway, reality shows and fashion designers make for entertaining—and educating—TV content. In the streaming era, Netflix’s own take on the genre is Next in Fashion, which started its run in 2020.

After style personality Alexa Chung co-helmed the hosting chair alongside Queer Eye’s Tan France in season one, supermodel Gigi Hadid now takes her turn for its awaited follow-up. And with her track record as a modern fashion icon, best believe that Gigi turned up on every episode with awe-inspiring designer looks. Check them out below!

Versace

In the season’s first episode titled Royalty, the supermodel started out with a bang courtesy of Versace, as apt for an episode starring guest judge Donatella Versace. For Gigi’s grand entrance, the 27-year-old slipped on a gold chain number from the Italian luxury house.

Later on, she switched to a purple rhinestone iteration, which she paired with wide-leg pinstripe trousers from the Fall 2022 collection.

Versace makes another cameo in episode six titled Met Gala. Gigi called back to her own ensemble from the 2022 event with her custom crimson red puffer coat from the atelier, along with the latex corset jumpsuit.

The Mannei

Gigi took on episode two’s Wear the Earth title with floral-inspired pieces from Polish brand The Mannei, with a cinched-on-the-waist blazer and matching mini skirt, detailed by dainty floral patterns emblazoned on its linen blend material.

Sevali

For the other half of the second episode, Gigi was artwork personified with a paint-splattered vibrant creation from upcycled couturier Sevali. Here, she was vividly robed with the brand’s graphic coat, combining it with equally eye-catching leggings and an Off-White industrial belt.

Alessandra Rich

Episode three Thrift got Gigi into a more grunge-inspired mood with a dash of power-suiting '90s tweed. The supermodel recruited Alessandra Rich for a head-to-toe ensemble, featuring a red single-breasted blazer, layered over a zebra-patterned knitted crop and high-waisted denim shorts.

The brand makes a second appearance in the eighth episode, with Gigi now opting for a set of checked-tweed co-ords detailed by a white mikado collar. Keeping up with the picnic-appropriate theme, the co-host also flaunted strawberry and cherry charms from the same brand!

Isabel Marant

Apropos of episode four’s Childhood title, Gigi went for a Y2K motif care of Isabel Marant. The star improvised the white eyelet maxi dress as a top by unbuttoning its lower half, and pairing it with sheer pants. For an added 2000s oomph, she wore her cap in a backward style on top of her braided hair.

Balmain

The reality series’ fifth episode saw Gigi slipping on a body-hugging catsuit straight from Balmain’s spring 2023 collection, highlighted by its printed contouring of a body’s silhouette. The supermodel also accessorized in rich royal gold for an extra pop.

The host showed the other side of Balmain in the episode’s second part, taking on Barbiecore with a pink cropped denim jacket and tapered jeans from the brand’s collection with the iconic Mattel doll.

Marc Jacobs

In the same episode, Gigi went for Marc Jacobs as she surveyed the contestants’ works-in-progress, wearing a glamorous black-and-white long-sleeved gown along with a turtleneck collar and dark gloves.

Chanel

For the show’s Swimwear episode, Gigi played with monochromatic layers with bandeaus, bodysuits, and blazers. Her accessories, however, were sourced from the ever-so classic Chanel, as she cinched her trousers with the brand’s chain belt–and even wore one as her necklace. Bonus: Spot the Chanel pearl drop earrings, too!

David Koma

Gems came aplenty for Gigi in episode nine, with the star wearing a dazzling see-through creation from the 2022 Autumn/Winter collection of London-based designer David Koma.

Richard Quinn

She started strong, and she ended on a luminescent note. For season two’s finale, Gigi was a vision in neon green thanks to British designer Richard Quinn, who masterminded the head-turning bodysuit, complete with similarly shaded pumps. As a fitting punctuation, the runway regular glammed it up with a glimmering statement necklace. What a way to end the season!
