Last October 26, the Araneta Coliseum transformed into a sprawling runway as Francis Libiran unveiled FAST ZONE. The show presented 150 couture looks for models, 80 outfits for dancers, and 20 exclusive pieces for SB19 and Sarah Geronimo, making this the designer’s most extensive presentation in his 26-year career.
Described by Francis as "Pop Culture Couture," the collection examined how the techniques of couture can adapt to the energy of modern performance.

Standout Looks from Francis Libiran's "FAST ZONE" Showcase
The runway spotlighted Francis’s sculptural approach to design, a key hallmark of his style sensibilities. Looks featured sharp tailoring, cocooned sleeves, and exaggerated proportions, with silhouettes that appeared both architectural and fluid in motion.
One model in particular wore a patchwork coat composed of multicolored woven textures, paired with structured khaki panels that framed the body like armor. Another ensemble featured a denim set with rounded, balloon-like sleeves, softening the rigidity of its construction.

Elsewhere, the seasoned designer explored futuristic tailoring through gray sculpted suits with exposed shoulders and metallic corsetry that reflected light under the stage. Pieces in pleated satin and sand-toned fabric added contrast, emphasizing the interplay between rigidity and fluidity.
A sharply cut cropped jacket paired with exaggerated pants exemplified his play on proportion, while shimmering gold gowns and embellished bodysuits showcased his signature craftsmanship.
Throughout the show, models and performers moved in rhythm, turning the venue into a space where fashion was experienced through both sight and sound.
Francis’ collaboration with SB19 reflected his direction toward performance-driven couture. The collection translated the precision of tailoring into garments built for movement, aligning the structure of couture with the rhythm and choreography of pop performance.
