Local talent goes international yet again.

A spectacle of grandeur, Arab Fashion Week 2018 saw two local designers send their jawdroppingly lavish creations down yet another international runway! Enter Filipino masters Michael Cinco and Amato Couture's Furne One Amato, both of whom showed their pieces at the prestigious, well-attended event.

Michael surprised the crowd by closing his show with a power strut care of Miss Universe Canada 2018 Marta Magdalena Stepien, even appearing arm-in-arm with the beauty queen at the catwalk's end.

The biomedical engineering student-turned-pageant queen stunned in a one-shouldered, fully-beaded scarlet evening frock. Fun fact: She'll also be wearing Michael couture to the competition in Bangkok this coming December 16! We can't wait to see it for ourselves.

Furne, on the other hand, made waves when he announced that local actress Maymay Entrata would be walking his show, making her the very first Filipina celebrity to model at AFW!

In an interview with Gulf News Tabloid, the actress said of the honor: "I feel blessed, I feel very thankful, because I'll be able to represent our country."

"The collection that she [was] wearing for this Arab Fashion Week is part of my 25th anniversary collection. So there's a lot of details, a lot of drama," Furne also added. "[It's] very theatrical."
