Filipino Celebrities Can't Get Enough of Matthieu Blazy's Debut Chanel Collection
A-listers got first dibs on the season's hottest collection!

Matthieu Blazy’s highly-anticipated debut collection for Chanel has officially arrived in boutiques worldwide! In recent days, our Instagram feeds have been filled with style stars unveiling their latest acquisitions from the house’s Spring/Summer 2026 lineup.
Unsurprisingly, some of the country's most stylish names set were quick to secure pieces from the line. With the luxury label yet to establish a presence in the Philippines, celebrities like Anne Curtis and Vice Ganda likely sourced their finds abroad or through personal shopping services.
Here’s a closer look at the Blazy-era Chanel items already spotted on local tastemakers.
Filipino Celebrities Debut Pieces from Chanel S/S '26
Anne Curtis
Anne’s pick from the collection is the caramel-toned Small Shopping Bag, a new silhouette first seen on Look 60 from the runway. Its east-west shape makes it compact yet capacious at once, with elongated shoulder straps for easy wear and a structured base that helps it keep its shape.

Vice Ganda
At Dr. Vicki Belo’s birthday party, Vice Ganda wore a crisp white button-down that’s anything but basic. While it may seem simple at first glance, it’s actually the same cotton shirt from Look 13 on the runway.
While Chanel is best known for womenswear, founder Coco Chanel often took cues from menswear. Historically, the button-down shirt is regarded as one of the earliest pieces she reimagined. For Spring/Summer 2026, Matthieu Blazy nods to that history with a tuxedo-style version, finished with the house’s signature chain detail and pearl buttons.

Marian Rivera
Shoes from the collection are among the most coveted this season. Styled with a relaxed denim-on-denim outfit, Marian debuted a pair of white square-toe pumps finished with the iconic double C hardware. The same pair appeared on Look 54 during the runway show.

Gabbi Garcia
Always quick to pick up on new releases, Gabbi Garcia is among the first Filipinas seen wearing pieces from the Spring/Summer 2026 collection. “Couldn’t resist @chanelofficial’s blazy,” she wrote on Instagram, where she showed off her two acquisitions: white pumps with black piping and square-toe heels, the same ones Marian Rivera owns!

Mond Gutierrez
Known for his polished style, Mond naturally gravitated towards Matthieu Blazy’s take on the iconic Chanel Maxi Flap. While the original is defined by its quilting, chain straps, and double C clasp, this version is evidently more pared down. It keeps the structured, boxy shape, now done in grained calfskin with simple leather straps designed to sit neatly on the shoulder.
