Dr. Vicki Belo Throws the Chicest White Party to Celebrate Her Birthday

All roads led to Medusa last Sunday, March 22, as doctor to the stars Vicki Belo gathered friends and family at BGC’s buzziest supper club to celebrate her birthday. Though belated—she officially turned a year older on January 25—Belo Babies came out in full force to toast the Preview 30 Icon.

Ever the gracious hosts, Dr. Vicki and Dr. Hayden Kho made sure that guests could let their hair down and enjoy an evening of fun and festivities. The night began with a carefully curated seating plan and a delicious meal featuring cod, ribeye and risotto. Endless libations, prizes, and games kept the merriment going as the stylish celebration unfolded to lively beats from DJ Christi McGarry and, later, Vicki’s son, director Quark Henares.

Ever the fashionista, Dr. Vicki encouraged guests to dress to the nines in “white with a touch of color.” The Belo Babies did not disappoint, interpreting the style guide in their own chic ways.

Breaking the monochromatic dress code, ensembles ranged from subtle pops of colors to full bursts of chroma. Vice Ganda's pristine button-down featured the coveted Chanel script from Matthieu Blazy's debut collection, while Julia Barretto accented her look with a brilliant aqua ring. For a bolder punch, Andrea Brillantes toted a fluorescent Kelly, while Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano embraced jewel tones through an abstract-printed La Chemise Simon from Jacquemus and a flattering halter top, respectively.

Adding depth to the evening's color palette, stylish guests also leaned into texture and sheen. Dr. Hayden looked sharp in a Zegna by Alessandro Sartori suit, contrasted with a knitted inner piece. Liz Uy opted for a form-flattering white dress accented with a delicate fringe belt that cascaded around the waist, while Michelle Dee and Alexa Ilacad took a cue from the same sartorial playbook with botanic-inspired laser-cut pieces.

Turning heads in their light-catching ensembles, Anne Curtis looked ethereal in an elegant silk slip, while Sarah Geronimo was effortlessly chic in a wrinkled satin halter dress paired with an electric pleated skirt. Charlie Flemming proved to be a budding fashionista to watch in a metallic leather and pearl outfit that balanced youthful playfulness with seasoned sophistication.

Of course, no one shone brighter than the birthday girl herself. Surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones, Dr. Vicki looked extra-effervescent in an asymmetrical Versace dress as Alexa Ilacad led the crowd in singing her happy birthday.
