Following Prada's collab with Adidas, another designer sneaker collab seems to be heading our way. Rumors have it that Dior and Nike are working together to release a luxe version of the classic and cult fave Air Jordan 1Overnundr, a dedicated sneaker leak account on Twitter, tweeted Nike's swoosh logo with Dior's, igniting talks that a sneaker collab might be in the works. According to the post, the collab will drop on June 2020 with just a thousand pairs in stock. Wanna cop the designer pair? Get ready to shell out $2000, says Overnundr.

3. Gucci Goes Carbon Neutral and Asks Other Brands to Follow Suit

On Gucci Equilibrium, the Italian brand has proudly announced that they've gone carbon neutral. This means that the luxury brand has offset its carbon emissions in their production of goods. In a statement, president and CEO of Gucci Marco Bizzarri says that they are able to do this "by contributing to four UN-backed REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) projects around the world that help to protect and restore some of our most important forests. These forests play an essential role in mitigating climate change and preserving biodiversity." He also reached out to other CEOs to join the CEO Carbon Neutral Challenge.

4. You Have to See This Luxe Dior x Rimowa Collab

Aside from a rumored Nike sneaker collab, Dior has unveiled a new Rimowa collection that debuted on the runways of Kim Jones' Summer 2020 presentation. The collection features a personal and cabin luggage all decked out with the famous Oblique pattern.

5. LVMH Acquires Tiffany & Co. for $16 Billion

After several talks, the boards of LVMH and Tiffany & Co. have finally closed the deal. The American jewelry brand has signed an acquisition deal worth $135 per share or about $16.2 Billion. With this, Tiffany & Co. now joins the same mother company that owns many luxury houses like Louis VuittonChristian Dior, and more. LVMH said in a statement that "the acquisition of Tiffany will strengthen LVMH’s position in jewelry and further increase its presence in the United States," CNBC reports.
