Drake's music itself is enough to make an entire arena swoon, but he has something else up his romantic sleeve other than sick beats and lyrics. Apparently, Grammy awards aren't the only ones he finds worthy of collecting. The rapper has also been stocking up on Hermès Birkins, too!
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Drake reveals that he's been collecting the famous luxury bag "for years." But he's not buying them for himself; instead, he's saving them as a gift for his future spouse.
"There’s very few things in this world, tangible things anyway, that hold their value and sort of appreciate as the years go on," he says, "So it was one of those things that I started collecting as well for the woman I end up with one day. So I have a fairly vast collection of Hermès to offer somebody at some point in life."
While the rapper hasn't shared full details of his collection, we can only assume that it's huuuge. It's just a shame that the Canadian star is choosing to keep mum about his love life so we have zero clues as to who the lucky recipient might be.
The Birkin bag is reportedly one of the best investments anyone can make today. Its value goes higher every year, as proven by the Himalayan piece that recently sold for $379,000 at an auction. So a collection of Birkins for future Mrs. Drake? Better than a diamond ring, that's for sure!
