In 2025, one of the biggest news in fashion was Jonathan Anderson's takeover at the house of Dior. For the first time since Christian Dior himself, Jonathan currently has full creative leadership over the brand's womenswear, menswear, and haute couture collections.

Last June and October, all eyes were on Jonathan's inaugural collections for menswear and womenswear, respectively. Both Summer 2026 collections were lauded and finally, they have been launched worldwide.

For his take on the classic Mini Lady Dior, Jonathan thought of lucky charms. Dotted with embroidered four-leaf clovers and adorned with a red ladybug, the Clover pays homage to the creative directive's Irish heritage. The bag comes in three colors—green, black, and rose soupir. On the other hand, the bright yellow Buttercup features three-dimensional buttercups, which are complemented by one of the historic talismanic emblems of the house—a bee.

An iconic house code, the bow made its sartorial way into the Summer 2026 collection. The leather bag is both fashionable and functional, featuring an invisible closure and a removable chain. Coming in two sizes—small and medium, the Dior Bow comes in several colors (black, dreamy pink, tourmaline, buttercup yellow, hermitage, and latte white) and materials (smooth, metallic, and crinkled leather).

Taking on the Dior Book Tote, Jonathan celebrated literature by creating four new versions, which are called Book Covers. Coming in large, medium, and mini, the tote options are Bram Stoker's Dracula, James Joyce's Ulysses, Truman Capote's In Cold Blood, and Charles Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du Mal. The large size features a magnetic closure, while the medium and mini have detachable and adjustable shoulder straps.

Worn by Jonathan during his first show for the house, the Dior Roadie shoes boast of function, elegance, and comfort. The sole is divided in two, which allows the footwear to adjust to one's movements. Then, the thick shoelaces add a contemporary edge to the overall look. Finally, a tone-on-tone logo is embroidered on the side of the shoe.

For a reinterpration of the classic Lady Dior, Jonathan turned to American artist Sheila Hicks. The artist covered the bag in cascading tassels, resembling ponytails. This unique take on the iconic bag is a celebration of texture, form, and color.
