Fashion is in a state of constant reinvention. The test of creativity lies in how a luxury fashion house innovates while staying firmly rooted to its beginnings. Take Jonathan Anderson, for example. The artistic director opened Dior’s new chapter with a debut menswear collection drawn from archives and heritage, but translated in a way that is wearable today. And with the announcement that he will be leading the French house’s womenswear too—marking the brand’s return to the sole director set-up practiced by Christian Dior himself—there is high anticipation for how he retells the stories of femininity next.
It is Maria Grazia Chiuri whom he is succeeding, after all. As the first female creative director in the French house’s history, her nine-year tenure reintroduced Dior as a luxury brand designed to fit into your everyday life. She was the mind behind the staples that now come to mind when thinking of Dior—the Book Tote and the Lady Dior included.
One of her final collections for the brand, specifically the Autumn/Winter 2025-2026, served as “an invitation to use fashion to be yourself.” It married frills and tailcoats to t-shirts and raincoats, elevating a contemporary wardrobe with a historical touch.
The said ready-to-wear collection was also the official debut of a new chic bag that, given Maria’s history, is set to become the next Dior carrier that will be in the hands of every fashionista in sight. Ahead, meet the Dior D-Motion.
What Is the Dior D-Motion?
The art of detail is embodied by the D-Motion bag. One of its defining characteristics is the luxury fashion house’s iconic Macrocannage motif, a signature quilted pattern that gives a nod to heritage.

Being a modern take on the classic bucket silhouette, the carrier features a drawstring closure and an adjustable strap that allows you to wear it in several ways. “Lightness” was one of the recurring themes in the aforementioned collection that the D-Motion is part of. With a spacious interior compartment and a zip pocket to safekeep your essentials, it’s a bag that moves with you and not against you.

The carrier is adorned by metal D.I.O.R. charms—an unmistakably modern and distinguishable addition.

How Much Is the Dior D-Motion?
The Dior D-Motion is crafted with exceptional savoir-faire, as one would expect from the luxury fashion house. Its supple curves and meticulous details are featured in a small and a medium size.
The small D-Motion measures 6.5 inches in length, 7.5 inches in height, and 4.5 inches in width. In other words, it’s capacious enough to fit “a phone, a wallet, a card holder, sunglasses and lipstick.” According to Dior’s Philippine website, the lambskin bag comes in three colors. There’s the classic black and ivory, and there’s the adorable powder pink. A crinkled calfskin option in black is available, too. The small Dior D-Motion retails for P240,000.
If your wallet has more length, much like the Lady Dior Voyageur, then the medium would be a better fit. Its length, height, and width are 9, 9.5, and 5 inches, respectively. Also featuring macrocannage lambskin, it comes in black, ivory, and light gold-tone. The medium Dior D-Motion retails for P265,000.
Style Stars Wearing the Dior D-Motion
Jisoo
Always pictured with the latest from Dior, Jisoo carrying the D-Motion was only natural. With a post captioned “Busy running around,” the performer, actress, and Blackpink member proves that the chic carrier stays true to its name. Jisoo inserted an ice cream break in her packed schedule, wearing a casual outfit that features a baseball cap, a fitted black top layered with a plaid flannel, and denim jeans. The black D-Motion on her shoulder complemented her OOTD, serving as a testament to Dior’s position as a luxury that fits in the daily.

Gabbi Garcia
Gabbi Garcia reaches out for the D-Motion for work, travel, and everything in between. Dressed in an ebony ensemble, with a long-sleeved top that sat off her shoulders and tucked in a mini skirt, she utilized the ivory carrier as an eye-catching pop of color. Gabbi also sported the Dior Dway Slide, showing how style doesn’t have to compromise comfort.

Heart Evangelista
Finding romance in rhythm and in movement, Heart Evangelista carried the D-Motion in a light gold-tone hue. It served as a sophisticated contrast to her all-white suit that appeared both soft and structured.

Irene Kim
Irene Kim believes that the D-Motion’s je ne sais quoi lies in its quiet power. The model and fashion maven embodied the “less is more” philosophy as she paired the luxury bag with a simple, chic, and flattering ribbed dress.

Lingling Kwong
Capturing Dior’s balance of poise and effortlessness was Lingling Kwong. The Thai actress donned an elevated casual look, featuring a black tube and cardigan, and a classic pair of jeans. With an ivory D-Motion keeping her company, her look harmonized grace and modernity.
