“Consistency” is arguably one of the defining traits in Catriona Gray’s playbook. Before, during, and long after her reign as Miss Universe, she has used her platform to spotlight Philippine culture, including her unwavering support for Filipino creatives, a cause that comes naturally to her as an artist herself.

Catriona’s sincerity in upholding her advocacies shines through, even from miles away. No matter where she is in the world, she finds a way to represent home, often through the thoughtfully chosen Filipino-made pieces she wears.

Ahead, a look at Catriona’s proudly local ensembles from her global travels.

Catriona Gray's Proudly Filipino Travel OOTDs
Timeless in Thailand

The beauty queen and singer recently boarded a flight to her home away from home: Thailand. Upon arrival, she was dressed in a coordinated look by Yong Studio, a brand known for its commitment to ethically made clothing.

Catriona wore a peplum top and midi trumpet skirt, both featuring smocked garters and ruffled details that lent a youthful twist to the otherwise classic silhouette. The ensemble, along with the rest of her stylish OOTDs in the Southeast Asian country, was put together with the help of stylist Danae Vernisse Dipon.

Embarking on a Jurassic adventure, Catriona put a refined spin on safari chic. Her look featured a backless cowl-neck halter top paired with knee-high boots—but the standout accessory was her woven roller bag from Orias. The brand is known for producing in small batches, preserving both the quality and integrity of its craftsmanship.

Filipino artisans from Yong Studio. Her mid-rise mini skort was functional yet stylish—perfect for on-the-go adventures—while her button-down top stood out with its sculptural sleeves. As she aptly put it, “Yung sleeves may sariling eksena!”

Sweet in Sweden

A change in climate is never a reason for Catriona to leave her proudly Filipino-made pieces behind. On a short but stylish trip to Stockholm, Sweden, she opted for a preppy ensemble from SM Fashion.

She layered a classic white button-down with lilac long sleeves and topped it off with a knitted vest that pulled the palette together. She styled the look with a mini skirt and a pair of neutral-toned boots. Her travel bag of choice featured a strap with detailing inspired by traditional Filipino textiles—an understated nod to home.

Thoughtful in Turkey

Earlier this year, Catriona made her way to Cappadocia, Turkey—mirroring the city’s vibrant hues in a striking ensemble. She paired a green short-sleeved coat with a hand-beaded yellow scarf from Niño Franco, a homegrown brand that collaborates with indigenous women artisans.

To complete the look, she carried another ethically made piece from Orias: a structured bag crafted from Rattan Solihiya weave.
