Jin of BTS has proven to be one of the most influential personalities in the world of fashion. An ambassador for well-respected brands such as Gucci, Alo, and Laneige, the musician has made anything he's publicly worn or used become covetable items.
Case in point: a simple selfie he recently posted online led to a luxury bag charm flying off shelves in a matter of days. Mind you, said accessory retails for about P50,000!
The Exact Keychain That Sold Out After BTS Jin Wore It

After a day at work, Jin snapped a photo in what is presumably his off-duty attire: a cozy jacket, jeans, and a perfectly capacious shoulder bag. The piece he toted that day was an earthy suede carrier accented by a leather strap. What caught the attention of many, however, was the adorable kitten hanging on the bag's hook.
Given Jin's ties to Gucci as an ambassador, netizens quickly found the exact keychain as a piece from the Japan-exclusive Yuko Higuchi collaboration. Doubling as a tiny purse for coins and other valuables, the bag charm features a cute illustration of one of Yuko's feline companions, as well as Gucci's signature double Gs. Hours after Jin's selfie made rounds, the charm was officially sold out on Gucci's e-commerce channels. That means a surge of people shelled out thousands of yen just to match anik-aniks with the BTS singer!

Jin's ambassadorship for Gucci has positively influenced the maison's image, particularly for those who follow K-pop and Asian pop culture. In fact, he's been dubbed the "Sold Out King" for his ability to spike sales for products he patronizes. Over the past year, even food and beverage concepts such as Dongwon Tuna has earned a 30% increase in sales after they were given Jin's stamp of approval as an ambassador.
About the Gucci x Yuko Higuchi Collection
It's not hard to understand why Jin proudly showed off his new keychain, given its unique motif. Fashioned after Yuko's pets, Bo and Boris, the collection also displays the artist's distinct illustration skills, which have gained a cult following across Japan.
While the exact one Jin wore has yet to be restocked, a selection of other purrr-fect pieces is readily available online.
