The Netflix-streaming K-drama Bon Appétit, Your Majesty mixes historical intrigue with a dash of gastronomy, following modern-day chef Yeon Ji-yeong (played by YoonA) as she is suddenly transported to the Joseon Dynasty during a solar eclipse.
While she navigates palace politics and royal cooking challenges under the young and stern King Lee Heon (played by Lee Chae Min), one modern item sticks out throughout the series: a brown shoulder bag that holds the Mangunrok cookbook and other essentials from her own time.

Throughout Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, Ji-yeong navigates the complexities of the Joseon court, from palace intrigues and rival consorts to her duties as a royal chef under King Lee Heon. Amid these storylines, her brown shoulder bag appears in key scenes.

In Episode 1, Ji-yeong carries it when she winds up in the bygone era of Korea and later when she reaches the cliff, marking a tangible link to her modern life. It reappears in later episodes, including a scene in the greenhouse when Yi Heon hands it to her.

Fans of the show have been buzzing over the bag, calling it a “scene stealer,” with some saying the drama makes them want to get one for themselves.
The bag in question is the brown SIAC3053 Flowback from Korean brand Siyazu, founded in 2020. Inspired by the French word sillage, Siyazu focuses on minimalist, modern designs with clean lines and versatile silhouettes. The Flowback bag is crafted from flexible suede that naturally maintains its shape and offers practical storage.
Beyond its role in the drama, the Flowback has a pared-down, sculptural quality. The soft suede bag’s unstructured form is balanced by details like reinforced stitching, subtle side studs, and a discreet closure that keeps the design clean. Compact but functional, the bag is all about understated utility—perfect, so it seems, for a character who slips between two worlds while holding onto traces of her own.
Originally priced at 179,000 Korean won (around P7,366), it’s now available for 161,100 Korean won (about P6,630). See the exact piece below.
