Well, how you like that? Kim Jisoo of BLACKPINK is breaking boundaries for being the first Korean global endorser for Dior. The announcement was made ahead of International Women’s Day, which makes it even more special for the K-pop star and soon-to-be K-drama actress.

This appointment makes her the face of Dior beauty and the luxury house’s fashion campaigns. Mind you, not all celebrity endorsers of Dior get to represent both their fashion and beauty lines—with this, Jisoo joins the ranks of Natalie Portman and Cara Delevingne.

In Dior’s official statement, the brand shares that the BLACKPINK member “embodies, with her singular audacity, the House’s modernity” and actually inspired head designer Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection for the brand, making Jisoo the perfect muse for Dior’s romantic and effortlessly feminine signature aesthetic.

We definitely can’t wait to see Jisoo’s future campaigns for the luxury brand!
