Now embracing motherhood, Aon Somrutai is making a grand return to our for-you pages. Best known for her "Thank you, Kateyki" catchphrase and ultra-luxurious style, the Thai socialite met with fans and press from the Philippines during a recent trip. And as expected, she didn't leave the country without indulging in some shopping.
Some of Aon's purchases during her visit were frocks from Filipino designer Mikayl Trinidad of Monohomme Studios. Fun fact: She learned of the brand after seeing it on the cover of Preview!

In an Instagram reel, Aon can be seen hitting the treadmill with her baby Freyana in tow. With Kateyki and a house helper beside them, the mom and daughter pair were all smiles while on the exercise machine. True to Aon's glamorous yet humorous persona, she got her steps in wearing a flamboyant floral dress.
The knee-length frock was plucked from Monohomme Studios' most recent womenswear collection. In an exclusive interview, Mikayl explains the look's inspiration, sharing that it's inspired by his aunt.
"That dress is made from chocolate brown corduroy and pink feather lace. Pink is [my aunt's] favorite color, and when I was a kid, she always reminded me of chocolates because every time she came home from the U.S., she would bring me chocolates," he expresses.
Having heard of Aon through her viral online content, Mikayl was understandably surprised when her team first reached out to him. "At first, I was a bit skeptical because Aon is such a big fashion icon in Thailand, so I kept wondering, 'How did she end up in my inbox?' he recalls feeling.
To verify that it really was her reaching out, he set up a Zoom call with the interested buyer. "Very humbly, she joined the meeting herself, bare-faced and wearing a bunny headband. The first thing she said was, 'I'm real.'" Mikayl tells Preview. He adds that she specifically requested the brown-and-pink dress, as well as the denim-and-green version worn by Mimiyuuuh in Preview's May 2026 cover. The dress Aon wore on the treadmill costs P65,000.

Such a transaction meant a great deal to Mikayl, especially since the dresses fashioned after deeply personal experiences of his. "The collection is about the stories of the women in my life," he states. "Bringing the collection to life was both emotional and fulfilling because I was able to translate those memories into something tangible."
It was nothing short of an honor for an international name like Aon to don his work. "Knowing that she connected with the collection and chose to wear it is such an honor, especially because these designs come from such a personal place," Mikayl expresses.

Em is queer and probably daydreaming somewhere. They're Preview's associate entertainment editor who's often spotted in cowboy boots and lemon-tinted sunnies.
