Alex Eala's Low-Key OOTD Features a Designer Bag That Can Fetch Over P150,000

Alex Eala recently wrapped up her championship run at the 2026 Mubadala DC Open—a first for the rising tennis star, and for any Filipino, for that matter. The feat, achieved on the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Tour, also elevated her world ranking to No. 20.

The athlete had just two days to relish her win before making her way to Toronto for her debut at the 2026 Canadian Open, where she has since advanced to the third round after defeating American player Alycia Parks.

Before flying to Canada, Alex shared a quick outfit check on her Instagram Story, featuring a designer piece that her followers can't get enough of.

Given the nature of her sport, Alex often hops from one plane to another, naturally perfecting the formula for a comfortable travel OOTD. The 21-year-old opted for a plain white tee for her flight, pairing the wardrobe staple with relaxed purple pants that allowed her to stay comfortable on the go. In contrast to the sneakers she usually wears on the court, she appeared to swap them out for a pair of loafers.

The bag slung over her shoulder was undeniably the pièce de résistance. From the details visible in the photo, eagle-eyed fans of the Filipina tennis star quickly realized that it was a carrier by Chanel.

The plum tote is believed to be from the French luxury fashion house's Fall/Winter 2010 or 2011 collection. It features Chanel's signature quilting, with purple-and-white tweed forming the bag's signature diamond pattern over its padded nylon exterior.

Its leather-and-chain straps are finished with hardware that matches the lone logo on the front. With two spacious compartments, it's easy to see why it's considered an ideal everyday bag. Based on Alex's photo, it has more than enough room for her beloved oversized headphones, which she often wears on her walk onto the court.

Alex has previously admitted she's "a sucker for a good bag," and her growing designer collection is proof.
