Inside Marj Maroket’s Second Wedding in Pennsylvania

After tying the knot in Bohol, the social media star and her husband Brendan Winter held a second celebration to share the milestone with loved ones who couldn’t make it the first time.

Weddings are rarely just about the couple. They’re milestones meant to be shared—moments that feel more complete when the people who matter most are in the room. For Marj Maroket and her husband, Brendan Winter, that meant going the extra mile.

After tying the knot in an intimate destination wedding in Bohol last March, the couple chose to celebrate again months later in Pennsylvania, creating space for the family and friends who couldn’t make the first ceremony.

“There actually wasn’t supposed to be a second wedding,” Marj shares in an interview with Preview. “Our Bohol wedding last March was truly the perfect day to celebrate.”

But destination weddings come with a familiar trade-off. While intimate and meaningful, they can also mean that distance becomes a barrier—particularly for family and friends who simply can’t travel. For Marj and Brendan, that meant many of Brendan’s loved ones in Pennsylvania.

“A downside of destination weddings is that not everyone is able to join, especially Brendan’s friends and family in Pennsylvania,” she explains. “Having this second celebration gave us the chance to share this moment with them as well.”

Held at Terrain Gardens, the winter celebration was intentionally straightforward: no second ceremony, just a reception and after-party. After all, it was less about formalities and more about being present with the people who mattered.

Compared to their sunlit Bohol wedding, this one leaned into a softer, colder season. Marj also credits Brendan’s parents, who planned the entire celebration, for making the day feel personal and seamless.

The second wedding also allowed Marj to wear a bridal look she had long imagined.

“I knew right away that I wanted a mantilla veil and a lace dress,” she says. “It was a look I had also envisioned for our Bohol wedding.”

The gown—a halter-style silhouette crafted from French lace—was designed by her friend Bella Borromeo, created just in time before the couple flew to the US. Clean, classic, and unfussy, the dress allowed the textures to do most of the talking.

The second bridal look was a natural complement to her first wedding dress, an Oscar de la Renta gown worn in Bohol. Different silhouettes, yet the same point of view.

"I did my own makeup and wore my hair down in soft curls," Marj reveals, keeping the overall vibe relaxed and personal. Much like the celebration itself, her second wedding look felt thoughtful, understated, and true to her style.
