Owning a film camera isn’t as easy as it sounds—those old gems need maintenance to stay in shape, and not everyone is equipped to care for one. So instead of purchasing a vintage camera, the best road for some film aficionados might be to rent one.
This is where Vintage Camera Market (VCM) comes in. One of the few organizations that rent out quality film cameras, VCM is a community of vintage camera lovers dedicated to training a new generation in the dying art of film photography.
Aside from film camera workshops, which have been put on hold due to quarantine, VCM rents out its array of film cameras, which include single-lens reflex cameras, range finders, and point-and-shoot cameras. These can be rented from P650 to P1,000 for two hours, inclusive of 36 shots of 35 mm film, complete with processing, scanning, and uploading. VCM also rents our prime lenses.
With ECQ finally over, you can finally get your hands on a vintage film camera.
