The heart of Tokyo beats to the sound of cash registers opening, paper bags unfolding, and feet marching for at least 20,000 steps a day. The upscale and vibrant shopping district is truly a joy to explore, and the breaks in between are no exception. Tokyo is home to unique luxury concepts, with many brands opening their own cafés in the Japanese capital. The sound of coffee brewing is seemingly part of the city’s DNA, too.

Giorgio Armani
Armani Caffe
The Giorgio Armani experience doesn’t end in its boutique in Omotesando, Aoyoma district, which presents the elegant and timeless pieces that the designer is known for. It extends to the Armani Caffe right beside the store. As written on their website, “the space is inspired by the dialogue Mr. Armani has always had with Japanese culture, which he feels attuned to and is a source of continuous stimuli.” Much like his creations, “the gastronomic selection is simple and sophisticated at the same time.” Go for their afternoon tea set if you’re looking to take a break from coffee, or refresh with their special parfait of the month.
