Today, it is the largest private residence on the lake, covering over two hectares of landscaped gardens, a private pier, and an outdoor pool.
Inside, original frescoes by the Recchi brothers and Agostino Silva remain intact, while antiques sourced from Sotheby’s and Christie’s fill its grand salons. Publications like Harper’s Bazaar both rank the villa as one of Lake Como’s most prestigious venues—a setting worthy of its glittering history.
The Accommodations
Villa Balbiano’s main palazzo contains six individually designed suites by French interior decorator Jacques Garcia. Guests can expect marble bathrooms, museum-worthy décor, and views across Lake Como. Exclusive Italy Weddings notes that while the main villa accommodates 12, additional wings and annexes expand capacity to around 30 guests.
The Amenities

Three days, two nights with accommodation: starting from €200,000 (around $215,000 or P13.3 million) for up to 200 guests.
Two days, one night with accommodation: starting from €100,000 (around $108,000 or P6.65 million), available on weekdays.
One-day event without accommodation: starting from €50,000 (around $54,000 or P3.33 million), though not typically offered during peak weekends.
Extended afterparties run an additional €3,000 (about P200,000) per hour past curfew, and a refundable €35,000 (about P2.33 million) security deposit applies for large weddings.
On TikTok, Becca mentioned an estimate of $100,000 to $150,000 (about P6.65 million to P10 million), a figure that falls within the range of weekday rental rates.
