Love is in the air indeed! Crash Landing on You's Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin are getting married! The couple sent the K-world into a frenzy as they took to Instagram to announce their engagement.
Hyun Bin's agency broke the news as the actor wrote the caption on an IG post. Hyun Bin shares to his fans that they have made an important decision—to get married—and that they are carefully stepping into the second act of their lives. He says that they've made a promise to be happy and to be together forever. Aww!
Ye Jin, also confirmed the news to her IG followers, as she posted a miniature wedding gown with an equally touching caption.
"I thought long and hard about how to share this story because it’s an important one. I found someone to spend the rest of my life with. Yes… it’s him," the actress wrote. "Boy meets girl, recognizes each other in the crowd, promises to build a future together…I couldn’t imagine!" Ye Jin continues, "It happened so naturally… But, isn’t that destiny?"
Together, the couple asks for support from their fans and expresses their gratitude to those who have loved them unconditionally as they begin their future together. Ye Jin ends her note, "Please know that I’m infinitely grateful and I also wish you all happiness!"
The RiRi couple first sparked dating rumors back when they first starred in the film The Negotiation, way before they reunited for the K-drama series Crash Landing on You. However, it wasn't until the popular series wrapped that they began to get to know each other, further bonding over their mutual love of golf.
Vast Entertainment confirmed their relationship in January 2021, "Actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin met through their projects, and after the end of their drama, their positive feelings towards one another developed into a romantic relationship." They have also requested for their fans to "look warmly upon their relationship and cheer them on in the future."
