Fortunately for Muntinlupa folks, a new café has recently opened up in your neighboorhood! Sentro Fortis Café embodies that ideal chill vibe that the South is all about. If you're looking forward to enjoying a good cup of coffee in breezy, IG-worthy ambience, then go ahead and add this place to your road trip bucket list!

This newly opened café is a passion project among sisters, Reijean Caraig, Renee Caraig Pasco, and Rizzie Caraig Tan. The trio has traveled to many countries, and the different coffee shops and restuarants they've been to served as muses for their business.
Located in front of a crossfit gym, Sentro Fortis Café takes inspiration from the concept of Bali coffee shops. In case you didn't know, there are numerous Bali coffee houses that are either connected to, or nearby some sort of gym or fitness center. This makes perfect sense, since you can grab a cup of coffee for an instant energy boost before a workout session.
Design-wise, the café also takes inspiration from the aesthetics of coffee shops found in Korea and Bangkok. As an al fresco haven, white chairs and tables, and wooden benches, serve as the outdoor seating areas. There are pretty hanging lights and cactus plants that line the walls, and we can see why the owners described the café's style as "desert minimalist."
Although the café is still at it's soft opening, influencers like Ira Oyco and Faye Balogo have already flocked to the cafe and hav instantly fallen in love with its aesthetic and chill ambiance.
One might initially visit for the surroundings, but it's the coffee and pastry options that will keep you coming back to Sentro Fortis Café. Strong coffee lovers should try the Iced Americano (P130), and those who are craving something sweeter can go for the Iced Caramel Latte (P185). For something sweet to eat, the Strawberries and Cream Doughnut (P140) is a must-try.
Sentro Fortis Café is located at Lot 24 and 25, Victoria Ave., Barangay Tunasan, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. They are open Monday to Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Friday t0 Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m..
