Dancer and YouTuber Riva Quenery is starting her summer with a bedroom makeover! With the help of architect and interior designer Jessey de Leon, she reveals her new room design in her recent YouTube vlog. Riva’s known for her iconic, full on pink-themed spaces and it looks like that’s not changing anytime soon.
But of course, with a baby on the way, her definition of how pink a room can get now embodies a mature take. “Sabi ‘ko, Jessey, parang tumatanda naman na ata ako. Parang gusto ko nang mag-mature! Mas-okay na lagyan na natin ng accent yung pink. Hindi yung puro pink lang talaga,” she says. Riva recalls how much she wanted to add neutral tones and an accent of muted green to the color scheme. She also shares that she instructed Jessey to curate every corner of her room to look like an effortless backdrop when she films her videos.
As her fans would describe it, Riva is definitely living the Pinterest life! We don’t know about you, but her room is the perfect balance between modern and industrial interior design. In the video, she highlights her gorgeous padded upholstered wall with drop lights, a sleek full-height cabinet with a spherical comfy nook, a walk-in closet that has two floors, a bright and spacious make-up room, and a secret door that leads to the baby room. Awwww! For Riva, the 23-year-old vlogger simply treats it as a space where rest and productivity meets in the middle.
