That said, one Reddit user who goes by the username @fatkittycat3 seems to be having the best of both worlds. She created an island in Animal Crossing featuring her favorite K-dramas!
In case you’ve been living under a rock, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a Nintendo Switch video game that was released just last March. It’s been extremely popular since, with over five million digital copies sold within the first month. Basically, the goal is to turn a remote island into your home by growing its population, gathering and crafting items, fishing, catching bugs, and decorating the entire place. TBH, it’s the perfect kind of escapism we could all use right now!
The aforementioned Reddit user, who seems to regularly post about her fave K-dramas and in-game experiences, shared a collaged photo of what her ACNH island currently looks like. To say that her attention to detail is impressive would be an understatement! “I made a K-drama theme for my island. Still working on a few more references but these are the ones I finished so far,” she captions her post.
