Bo Gum and his co-star Kim So Hyun went on the show to promote their latest K-drama, Good Boy. In the middle of the interview, Bo Gum couldn’t help but laugh at the state of Hyeri’s hair, which had unraveled from her braid. "I was looking at you and I thought you were wearing headphones,” he told his fellow actor. “It's rising higher and higher."

Not one to point out a problem without a solution, Bo Gum offered to fix Hyeri’s unruly locks with a bobby pin. "I'll fix your hair if it rises again,” he said.

He explained later on that he earned a certificate to become a hair technician during his stay in the Korean navy back in 2021. Bo Gum even had to prepare and take a practical exam for it called the National Technical Qualification Examination. As reported by Soompi, the actor has always been interested in becoming a technician, which is why he invested a lot of time and energy to get ready for the test.

FYI, the Korean military encourages soldiers to gain skills that can come in handy for when they’re discharged from their mandatory service. “In addition to Sergeant Park, many soldiers are obtaining certificates in the military,” shared a military personnel to the Korean news site.

Bo Gum and Kim So Hyun star alongside Oh Jung Se, Lee Sang Yi, Heo Sung Tae, and Tae Won Seok in Good Boy, an action drama that follows the exciting lives of former Olympians-turned-police officers who use their athleticism to fight crime.

The show is currently streaming in the Philippines on Amazon Prime.
