Being in quarantine for two months had everyone hyperfocused in making their homes perfect for both work and leisure. Many of us devoted our time in the kitchen, learning new skills that we've always set aside for when we have more time. To be honest, I also found myself populating the kitchen more—I was happily figuring out how our stove and oven work, how to cook stew, bake banana bread, and more. But what I noticed is my lack of pretty dinnerware where I can plate the meal I laboriously made. Who would even believe that I baked cookies if I didn't post them on the 'gram, right?
Imagine my delight when I came across Harper and Harlow on Instagram. My eyes feasted on their feed brimming with fancy tea sets, marbled trays, and printed plates! I absolutely fell in love and started planning my own kitchen. You see, I'm preparing for big move and was practically nesting—just like Harper and Harlow's founder, Cha Sy Tan-Biana, when she set up her business.
"I started Harper and Harlow in 2015. I was newly married, and had recently moved into a new house with my husband," she shares with Preview. Like most business owners, ideas spark when you can't find exactly what you need. "I was looking for fabric placemats for our dining table, but couldn't find anything that I liked in local stores. My husband suggested I just go buy my own fabric in Divisoria and hire someone to sew them into placemats," she recalls. Her husband also persuaded her to sell her handmade pieces "in case other people were experiencing the same frustrations [she] was having."
True enough, Cha's curated home finds have answered the frustrations of so many other people, too. On Instagram, Harper and Harlow has already amassed over 48,000 followers, including an impressive list of local celebrity clientele.
Avid home decorator and hostess Heart Evangelista has shopped her beatiful plates and placemats. And how gorgeous are those statue vases?
Jinkee Pacquiao and Pauleen Luna-Sotto both love her printed plates.

Camille Co-Koro's Scandinavian taste has also found satisfaction with Harper and Harlow's ceramic trays and serving platters.

Laureen Uy stocked up on some lovely trays that help creatively organize her apartment, as well as some marbled plates for her merienda.

Newlyweds Matteo and Sarah Guidicelli hopped on the bandwagon and acquired a teal dinner set for their new home.

Cheska Cramer also updated her baking tools with a set of quirky and fun hedgehog measuring cups!

Meanwhile, Marian Rivera loves to keep it clean and fresh with her pristine serving bowl. We're also swooning over her dainty marble pink tea set! So cute!
