Preview Best (Under)Dressed awardee Marie Lozano is about to embark on her biggest adventure yet! The lifestyle journalist and host just said yes to marrying her future husband, Aaron Gekoski.
The couple took to Instagram to share the good news. "I am not one you can surprise easily but @aaron_gekoski got me on this one! This was a proposal beyond my wildest imagination," Marie revealed.
Photographed atop a hill, the precious moment was documented against nature's sprawling majesty as their backdrop. "It happened in the most magical first day, out here in Zimbabwe: up close and personal with rhinos in the morning, followed by sunset over Matobo Hills UNESCO World Heritage Site," Marie's caption so aptly described.
The sight to behold was nothing less than what you'd expect from Bertie, as her fiance is fondly called, who's an award-winning wildlife photographer. The filmmaker captioned his post: "When two journalists get engaged, it's important to cover the event from all angles." And well-documented it was indeed. Captured from multiple vantages, their engagement photos were truly one for the books!
Already known for their beautiful travel photos, the couple definitely upped the notch with their breathtaking engagement photos. Apart from the sprawling backdrop, you can definitely feel the joy radiating between the two. "I adore you, I love you and I would love to be your wife," Marie gushed in her post.
