Like many of us during the pandemic, Kryz Uy has spent most of her time at home, specifically in her office. It's where she uploads her vlogs, replies to emails, and connects with her followers. We actually got a tour of her office back in December 2019, but it looks like she's ready for a change. Now ready for a more "mature" look, Kryz wants her space to reflect her personal growth, trading her office's colorful look for a more muted, neutral one. Want to imbibe the same calming look onto your space? Here are all the simple changes you can make, according to Kryz Uy.
All the Cool Details We're Copying from Kryz Uy's DIY Home Office Makeover
1. Paint the walls with a cool, neutral hue.
She chose a limewash paint to cover the pink and give it more texture. Kryz wanted a white wall because it's also easier to accessorize should she feel the urge to redecorate again.

2. Opt for a sheer curtain for a breezy and airy feel in the room.
Fun fact: They use blinds all over the Skypod because husband Slater Young is allergic to anything that collects dust. But Kryz finally went for sheer curtains, something that fits her aesthetic more, and it gave the room a more elevated feel. It made the ceiling look higher, too. She shared that it cost roughly P18,000 to make this change.

3. Add a console table with drawers for storage to keep away visible clutter.
There used to be a bunch of stacked containers by the door, but now, Kryz has a chic white cabinet that holds some of the artwork that used to be on her main wall.

4. Add storage baskets if you don't have space for new furniture.
Kryz added woven baskets to the top shelf for things she wants to keep but not necessarily display.

5. Don't rush the purchase if a piece doesn't feel like "the one" for you.
She planned to replace her blue sofa with a white one but encountered a minor hump, so the hunt for the perfect one continues! Feeling sentimental, she hung Polaroid photos of her cute little family on her newly painted wall.
