Last June 2, Kryz Uy happily gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Christened Scott Knoa Young, the 7.9 lbs cutie is Kryz’s first child with husband Slater Young, who quickly came up with a hilarious TikTok post to announce their newborn.
Over a week after introducing little Scottie to the world, Kryz took her followers through her intimate birthing journey with a vlog posted this morning. The proud mom documented every pregnant mother’s long plight to giving birth from the giddy drive down to the hospital, to monitoring her distressing contractions, to the painful moments before and during delivery, to finally meeting their bundle of joy.
“You should love your moms, guys. Hindi siya madali. One child only,” Kryz jokingly said hours before she went into labor. Thankfully, she was allowed to have Slater by her side throughout the entire process seeing as the two turned out negative for their COVID-19 tests beforehand.
“Giving birth to a baby is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, but also the most beautiful, rewarding, and life-changing experience. All the pains? Worth it,” Kryz wrote below her YouTube post. “I was so lucky to have such a positive experience, especially after watching a million birth vlog horror stories on YouTube! Tip for expecting moms, don’t watch!…We’re 12 days into officially being parents to Scott Knoa. We’re exhausted, sleep-deprived, challenged physically and emotionally—but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Scottie is the biggest blessing and joy in our lives, and we’re more than honored to be part of his.”
