It has only been three months since Kristel Fulgar moved back to Korea, but she’s already making waves in the country. Case in point: The former Goin’ Bulilit star just made her first TV guesting in a reality show, only weeks after she revealed that she has signed with South Korean agency Fivestones Entertainment.
In a recent vlog, Kristel took her viewers on a busy day filming for her TV guesting. “I just accepted this project just for fun and because it was offered to me by my friend Joseph,” she says. While she definitely enjoyed the experience, Kristel admits that she’s not ready to pursue showbiz yet in the country.
“It was a memorable and fun experience but I don't think I am fully ready to enter the entertainment industry here in Korea. I guess I would be needing more time to learn their language and gain some more courage to explore my career in a different country.”

In a previous vlog, the actress also emphasized that she wants to be more confident in speaking the Korean language. “Wag muna mag-expect na maga-artista ako dito. Kasi nga hindi pa ako ganun ka-confident mag-Korean,” she says. “Later na, let's see. Kung ano 'yung matutunan ko sa school baka magkakaroon ako ng confidence.”
Still, Kristel appreciates her supporters for the love that she’s been getting since her move to Korea. She adds, “I appreciate everyone who [has been] very supportive and cheering for me.” We’re proud of you, Kristel!
