So you’ve caught yet another case of the second lead syndrome in the form of Han Ji Pyeong on Start-Up, and you just want the poor guy to finally find his happily ever after? Well, you’re in luck because actor Kim Seon Ho is apparently in talks to lead a new drama fresh out of the tvN series!
In a report by Soompi, an industry representative revealed that Seon Ho had already been offered a role for the upcoming drama, tentatively titled Link, set to air on the same network.
His management company SALT Entertainment confirmed the rumor on the same day, although it’s unclear yet whether Seon Ho will take on the offer. “Kim Seon Ho received an offer to star in the tvN’s new drama Link. We feel cautious about giving an exact statement at the moment as Kim Seon Ho is still filming Start-Up, but he will thoroughly review the script,” said his agency.
Link is described by Soompi as a fantasy romance and mystery drama. Should Seon Ho sign on, he’ll be playing Eun Gye Hoon, a chef who opens a restaurant in the same town where his twin sister went missing 20 years ago.
Set for a 2021 release, the drama will be written by Kwon Ki Young and directed by Noh Sang Hoon.
