In case we haven't said it enough, we're obsessed with Kelsey Merritt's most recent OOTDs on Instagram. The Filipina model was flown to Mexico by Australian clothing brand Revolve, and all her snaps from the trip were seriously breathtaking. But apart from the stylish outfits she wore, the stunning resort where she stayed in also served as a stunning background for her photos. "Can’t get enough of this place," Kelsey herself captioned one of her posts. We, naturally, just had to find out where it is!
Luckily, Kelsey's geotag reveals that the photos were taken at a place named Cuixmala, a "luxury eco-friendly resort" located on Mexico’s Pacific Coast in the state of Jalisco.
Cuixmala was once "a private estate [that's] now open as a destination for discerning travelers." According to its website, it was created by Sir James Goldsmith, who was knighted for his services to ecology. It houses a total of 38 rooms, all of which would serve as the perfect sweet escape for intimate gatherings or newlyweds. The hotel also has private villas for those who seek a little bit more isolation. Some rooms are located just 15 minutes away from the oceanfront, while others are located closer to the sea. Cuixmala preserves the environment and encourages sustainability by utilizing their biodynamic farm to provide for 90% of what they serve.
Obviously, it’s not so hard to get a good shot at a resort like Cuixmala where every corner makes for an Instagram-worthy moment. Check out some other gorgeous OOTD pics we've spotted using the Cuixmala geotag:
It certainly looks like paradise. BRB, booking a flight to Mexico!
