This love team just made Valentine's Day this year even sweeter!
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, known collectively to fans as KathNiel, have been together for almost a decade. In Kathryn's latest video for her vlog Everyday Kath, the actress interviews her boyfriend and asks him questions she's never asked Daniel before. The result is a very candid and revealing conversation about the couple's nine-year relationship and their plans moving forward.
Since they'll be celebrating their anniversary this May, the topic of marriage has constantly come up. So one of the questions Kath couldn't help but ask Daniel was: "Does it offend you when people ask us about getting married and I reply with, 'matagal pa, hindi pa kami ready?'"
"Hindi naman. Ayoko din naman madaliin," Daniel answers nonchalantly.
Admitting that she's the one not quite ready to walk down the aisle, Kathryn asserts, "Because you respect [that] I have a lot of things to do pa, na madami pa akong gustong gawin."
To which, Daniel also responds, "Pero wag rin tayo male-late. Yun lang yung sakin. Alam mo na yung sinabi ko sayo. Na minsan madami kang gustong gawin pero hindi mo napapansin na napagiwanan ka na." He then turns his attention towards the viewers to give a very sensible life advice: "Tandaan niyo yan, minsan puro na lang tayo. 'Gusto natin to, gusto pa natin to.' Magigising ka na lang, naiwanan na ako."
But whether or not the much-anticipated nuptials will happen anytime soon, the couple agreed that it'll happen when they're both ready. Not to mention, we can expect at least two children from them! Talk about maturity and family planning! We definitely stan.
