KUWTK and Bridgerton are two very different shows, but as it turns out they do have one thing in common.
In a giddy exchange on Twitter, Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan told Kim that the Kardashians served as a "massive inspiration" for the Featheringtons!
The Featherington sisters— Prudence, Philipa, and Penelope, who is played by Nicola—all have different personality traits and motivations, but each of them are sassy and stylish in her own way. Their dynamic definitely bears a resemblance to the iconic Kardashian trio. We should have guessed the connection sooner!
In a series of Instagram stories last March, Kim revealed that she's such a huge fan of the show, and is even part of a Bridgerton group chat! Hence, she couldn't hide her excitement when she found out that her family played a part in the show's conceptualization. In true fangirl fashion, she even asked if she could drop in during a fitting!
"WHAT?!?! I am freaking out!!!!!! This tweet was sent to me on my Bridgerton group chat! Can I please come to a fitting?!?! It would make my whole life!!!!!!" Kim tweeted.
In response to a tweet from @rolllikeroyal asking if Penelope was the Khloe of the group, Nicola answered, "I think Prudence are Philipa are very Kourtney and Khloe cos they're besties." That must mean that Penelope, (a.k.a. Lady Whistledown), is the Kim K of the Featheringtons. Would you agree?
