Janella Salvador and Markus Paterson have called out a netizen for making negative comments about their six-month-old son Jude's appearance. The couple went on Twitter to publicly address the user, condemning the act and sharing screenshots of the post itself.
Markus called out the user first, posting screenshots of their Facebook post and comments for proof. "Let's be honest. I'm no stranger to bashing. But come for my son and I will come for you," he wrote in his tweet.
The first photo Markus posted shows the user's caption on a post, which was shared from Erich Gonzales' Facebook page about meeting Jude. They wrote, "Jusko po panginoong mahabagin bat ganyan ang mukha ng batang yan."
The following screenshots featured comments left under the post by their friends laughing along and making additional remarks. The user left another disturbing comment as well, cursing those who disagreed with his post. "Ayaw nyo pa aminin na makasalanan ang mga tao kaya may ipinanganak na ganyan," part of their comment reads.
In the same tweet, Markus continued, "People like this make me sick, wala pang isang taon anak ko and [y'all] making fun of a NEWBORN. Not gonna erase the names, proud niyo eh."
The 22-year-old actor posted another screenshot of the same netizen's post, this time featuring a comment directed at Markus and accusing him of not potty training his son. But instead of reacting, Markus ended his thread with a message for that person and those who left nasty comments about Jude: "For the people in this post, I have no words other than I hope you someday find the happiness you need to [fulfill] that hole in your hearts. Maybe one day I can check on you all, since I have your names."
Shorly after, Janella also addressed the situation on her Twitter account by posting the Facebook user's name and profile picture.
"Your humor must be really f*cked up to make fun of a baby. I can take all the bashing in the world directed at me with grace, but direct it at my innocent son and you’ll definitely hear from me," tweeted the actress. "PS you sure about making fun of Jude's face? You sure, bud? Sure na? Yikes. Ayt."
