The actress revealed all her expenses come from the money she makes with her paintings.

As much as she’s known for being an actress and a style icon, it’s Heart Evangelista’s title as a painter that benefits her best, at least when it comes to getting to buy whatever she wants.

In part two of Heart’s sit-down interview with Karen Davila on the latter’s YouTube channel, the socialite revealed she actually makes the bulk of her earnings from her art. FYI, Heart has long proven her capability as a visual artist after having done numerous solo exhibitions throughout her career, and cashing in on her hand-painted bags.

As a rule to herself, Heart only spends the money she makes from her paintings, so as to keep the rest of her savings intact. “That’s what motivated me [to paint]. I really enjoy it,” she told Karen. Now, we all know Heart’s closet is a treasure trove of luxury items, so how much does she exactly get for her carefully crafted pieces?

In the video, Heart gave a preview of her latest collection, which is set to be printed for her collaboration with Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd. According to the style star, it took her a whole year to finish all three framed paintings, which depict images of varying women. When asked how much the entire collection costs, Heart shared the overall value could reach up to a whopping P6 million! That puts each painting at an estimated P2 million. Definitely enough to fund the designer shopping spree of our dreams.

Heart also spoke up about spending her hard-earned money in part one of her interview with Karen. As per the actress, whatever she buys comes from her own pocket, and never from husband’s, Chiz Escudero, who was also part of the video.

“Let me make it clear: I'm not crazy rich! I'm not– it's just that I've been working for a long time so meron din akong sarili ko. For me also, I wanted din also for him to feel na hindi ko rin siya gagamitin. Plus he has also two kids. Gusto ko rin na ma-appreciate ng kids niya that they'll also be protected,” said Heart.

She continued to reveal that, apart from her paintings, the rest of her savings come from her endorsements, brand deals, Instagram posts, and her YouTube channel.
