According to the FB- and IG-obssessed who've shared their frustrations via tweets, both platforms refuse to let them log back in, with an error message popping up instead.

As for those who haven't cracked down yet that the 'ol logging-out-and-then-logging-back-in trick would work? Well, their feed simply looks like an empty white canvas of despair.

While there's no clear reason for the international outage just yet, both Facebook and Instagram have ironically taken to Twitter to reassure a slowly crumbling world that they're "working on it."
